Short version: your job data never leaves your device.

Files and job data

Spreadsheets you import and everything you type into Drawsheet — project and company names, contract sums, schedules of values, billing amounts and change orders — are processed by code running in your browser. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Data stored in your browser

Drawsheet keeps a draft of your current project in your browser's local storage (key ds_draft) so a refresh or closed tab doesn't lose your work. “Start over” deletes it, and so does clearing this site's data in your browser. On a shared computer, use “Start over” when you're done. If you buy Pro, your license key is stored in local storage (key ds_license) so you don't have to re-enter it. Nothing else is stored.

Downloads

PDF, CSV and Excel files are created on your device.

License validation

If you activate Pro, your license key (and nothing else) is sent to our payment provider's license API to confirm it is valid. When you click a buy button, the site asks the payment provider whether checkout is open (nothing about you or your project is sent).

Usage counts

The site counts page views and button clicks (for example “pricing viewed”) with a first-party request to this same website. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, sends no identifier and never includes job data. It is off when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Hosting logs

Like any website, our host may log standard request data (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

Payments

Purchases are processed by our merchant-of-record payment partner, which handles your payment details and sales tax under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
